The design on the lid of the wellhead in this photo in Glastonbury, England is the Vesica Pisces. Used in early Christianity, ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and other traditions. It’s a sacred geometric power symbol that doesn’t just represent something but IS the embodiment of the energy it “represents”. The two interlocking circles are duality merging into unity. And the almond shape in the center is the womb birthing creation.

As I was sitting here in meditation, it wasn’t long before I had entered into an altered state; a soft subtle opening of the mind where messages, insights and deeper knowing came flowing through like the waters of the sacred spring herself.

Witnessing through the lens of a macro-scope, I saw the spiraling path and all the ups and downs in my life that came with the search for Self. I was shown the life cycle of my physical temple and where it is in its current journey. I saw not only the death of my younger body, but also the death of my ego as I shed the old and move into my 38th year around the sun (tomorrow). While receiving these downloads, tears began to flow as my heart filled with grief for the death of my younger self and began to feel the stirrings of my crone stage (later half) of life. Surrounding the grief was an overflow of love for her, and everything she’s experienced - from her deep pains to her ecstatic joys, from all her “mistakes” to all the lessons she’s learned along the way.

Our ability to direct acceptance and love towards ourselves, I feel, is the key to self-discovery. Because not only does this heal wounds, but the amount of love we have for ourselves is equal to the amount of acceptance and knowing that we are perfect exactly as we are, and that ultimately we are - Love itself. Merging the human with the divine - birthing infinite potentiality, per the Vesica Pisces.
