In the realm where Abrahamic religions were still alive and rich with the mystical truths that birthed them…

In an era beyond dogmatic religious political institutions where the holy breath still flowed…

In a time when Sufis, Kabbalists and Gnostics wove an interconnected web of peace and love together on Mediterranean lands with the whispers of ancient goddess cults and mystery schools…

Lived the Black Madonna. 🌑

The Black Madonna is a presence found in statues on sacred sites that have been places of pilgrimage for centuries (some places over a millennia) that embody the deepest mystery teachings of Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and Sarah Tamar (known to be the Patron Saint of Gypsies and also the daughter of Mary Magdalene & Yeshua).

With hidden threads to the Hebrew goddess Asherah, the Egyptian goddess Isis, the Hindu goddess Kali and others.

She’s not just a statue, she’s a murti - a sacred vessel that is alive with Divine Feminine presence. Her stories from her devoted pilgrims are full of miracles of healing, and activations.

The mystery teachings of her blackness range from honoring the black fertile soil within the womb of Mother Earth, the black void within the womb of the Cosmic Mother, the mother who holds the wounds of humanity and the transformation that comes from moving through the threshold of the dark night of the soul.

The Black Madonna is surfacing again in our collective field to shine a light on the disease of patriarchy, oppression, fragmentation and separation. She takes us back to our origins, awakens the forgotten Divine Feminine within our own consciousness and brings us into alignment with what is sacred and true.

If you’d like to dive deeper into these mysteries through learning about her-story, and legends, opening our sacred vessels through womb yoga, breath-work, and body prayers, along with reflective journaling and rituals to discover what is waiting to be revealed within you - join me for my next Goddess Circle on May 31st.
