Attuning to the Syntropic Flower of Life

It can be quite the traumatic experience for plants when their roots are dug up and planted in a different location. Some of them don’t even survive. When they are transplanted, everything is new and delicate to them. If they do survive, it can take a long time for them to take root again as they sync up with their new environment.
I’m especially appreciating the process of transplantation as I continue to actively ground myself into my new home in Westland, Michigan. I’m surviving but it’s definitely taking some time to root down in the soil of my new “pot”.
I am mostly enjoying the endeavor, with all the loving souls in my life and the newness of it all. However, I think it’s natural for our root chakra to become disturbed when we become uprooted in this way. Our root chakra is an energy center located at the base of our spine which corresponds to feelings of stability, security and our ability to feel grounded in life. And for me, this disturbance is manifesting as confusion with my direction in life and a sense of lack, particularly with finances.
I was watching myself trying to fill that sense of instability and insecurity within my root center. I wasn’t allowing myself patience or time for my roots to naturally take hold. Instead, I was reaching for things, over-working, hurrying, worrying, not allowing time for enjoyment, in my head trying to figure things out and ultimately causing myself unnecessary stress.
I ended up having four dreams in two weeks about turtles.
My synopsis of these dreams was to sloooow down, surrender and allow life to unfold the way it wants to. I began to listen to these dreams which brought me to going on a deeply nourishing 4-day vacation in the woods with friends in Northern Michigan. We stayed in a cabin on a lake which synchronistically had a prolific and unusual amount of painter turtles paddling about in it!
The slowing down process also led me to listening to inspirational podcasts which has given me helpful answers to what I was seeking.
For life direction, I am learning to ask this question every day: “how can I be of greatest service to the whole?” then listening to and following the heart’s guidance.
For reaching for fulfillment, I am continuing to be reminded of and fully embody the understanding that having money and material possessions will not give me fulfillment (which may seem obvious but it’s such a deeply ingrained conditioned perspective in the collective and apparently, myself).
I’m learning to shift my understanding that money is just the manifestation of energy that holds a charge; a particular vibration which carries the intentional energy that was put into it. The energy behind the act of selflessly giving from the heart is the highest form of currency and when this energy is infused into any item that is given, including money, the universe will give back in ways that may not be expected and in the exact proportion in which you gave.
Energy is constantly being recycled within this world. In biology, when it’s recycled between multiple organisms the process is called syntropy. When this concept is applied to the macrocosm of life, it’s the understanding that everything is interconnected with one another which involves a complex interweaving of giving, digesting, absorbing, releasing, taking and sharing of energy.
When we attune ourselves with this syntropic pattern within the flower of life through giving selflessly from the heart, we will always find ourselves rooted, secure, supported, prosperous and deeply fulfilled.
In loving syntropy,
Shannon
