
An integrative massage (a.k.a - myomassology massage) session will address your individual needs by utilizing a variety of techniques that aim to calm the nervous system, reduce tension, pain, stress and anxiety to bring you into a state of homeostasis - balance.
The tissues of your body will be carefully listened to while the following techniques may be intuitively applied depending on your individual needs: long fluid strokes, gentle stretching, joint mobilization, active resistance movements, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, breathing exercises and guided meditations.
Pressure depth may vary depending on your body's needs, how well it's able to receive the pressure and your individual preferences.
You may undress to your comfort level, although no clothing is preferred. Please note that the body will be carefully covered with a sheet, exposing one body part at a time.
The table is heated upon request, and you can expect only high-quality oil used on your skin. Essential oils may also be used upon request.
After your session is complete, your therapist will go over customized stretching and/or breathing techniques for you to incorporate into your weekly routine.
